Maria Warnick is currently full-time faculty in GMercyU's Public Health program. She started at GMercyU as adjunct faculty in the nurse practitioner program in 2009 and became full-time faculty in both the undergraduate and graduate nursing programs.
After completing a doctoral program in public health with a focus in epidemiology, Dr. Warnick joined the public health faculty in 2022.
Maria also practices as a family nurse practitioner and is currently working in college health after many years of working in the primary care setting. She received a diploma in nursing from the Geisinger Medical Center School of Nursing, BSN from Hahnemann University, MSN from Thomas Jefferson University and a Ph.D. in public health from Walden University.
